Privacy Policy
This Policy describes what data we collect, how we use and protect it, and what rights you have. If something is unclear — write to support.
Delete your data (Involved Diary)
You can delete some of your data without deleting your account. Your account (email and sign-in) stays active unless you choose full account deletion below.
In the app (immediate)
- Journal entries — open an entry and delete it, or remove entries from the Tags browser.
- Tags — open Tags, select a tag, then delete or rename it.
- Day summaries — on a day page, delete the AI summary if one was generated.
- Routines and activities — remove custom routines and activities in Settings.
By email (other data)
To request deletion of data you cannot remove in the app — for example usage logs, error diagnostics, or feedback screenshots — email hello@involved.ink from the address linked to your account. Say what you want deleted. We usually respond within 30 days.
What we keep until you delete it or your account
- Account email, password or Google sign-in link, and profile settings.
- Server usage and diagnostic logs — until you request removal or delete your account.
- Payment records — as required by law, even after account deletion if applicable.

1. Who We Are
Personal data operator (hereinafter — "We", "Service"):
2. What Data We Collect
We collect only what is needed for diary operation, subscription, and service improvement. Depending on how you use the Service, data may include:
2.1. Account Data: email (or other identifier), technical account identifiers. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email and a Google account identifier needed to create and link your account; Google processes sign-in under its own privacy policy.
2.2. Diary Content: your entries, tags, categories, tasks, rituals, and other data you enter yourself.
2.3. Payment Data: we do not store card data. Payment is processed by a payment provider. We may receive payment status and transaction identifier from the provider.
2.4. Technical Data: IP address, device/browser data, error logs, request times, data for abuse protection.
2.5. Cookies: minimally necessary for login and interface operation, as well as (if enabled) analytical cookies.
2.6. Feedback: if you attach a screenshot in the feedback form, we receive that image together with your message for support.
2.7. Mobile App: on iOS and Android, the app loads the web service in a native shell. If you enable awareness check-ins, your active hours and reminder preference are stored on the device to schedule local notifications. We do not receive your location. The app does not collect advertising identifiers.
3. Why We Use Data
We use data for the following purposes:
3.1. Provide diary functionality (create/store/search entries, tasks, rituals).
3.2. Generate AI responses, summaries, and insights based on your data (if you launch AI functions).
3.3. User support, problem resolution, request processing.
3.4. Payment and Plus subscription management (check status, access to paid features).
3.5. Improve service quality, diagnose errors, security.
3.6. Send optional hourly awareness check-in reminders on mobile (only if you enable them in settings).
4. How AI Works and What's Important to Know
AI functions work on your request: when you press a button/launch an AI response, part of your text and context is sent for processing to an AI model (via an AI infrastructure provider).
We restrict data access and use it only to provide the function you requested.
5. Legal Basis for Processing
We process personal data on the basis of:
5.1. Contract performance (offer) — to provide service and subscription.
5.2. Your consent — for example, for optional cookies/analytics (if applicable).
5.3. Legitimate interest — security, abuse prevention, service improvement.
6. Who We Share Data With
We do not sell your data and do not share it with advertising networks. Access to data may be available to a limited circle of contractors who help us provide the service:
6.1. Hosting/Infrastructure — data storage and service operation (servers, databases).
6.2. Payment Provider — payment processing, receipt issuance (if applicable).
6.3. AI Provider — request processing for AI response generation (if you launch AI functions).
6.4. Sign-in Provider (Google) — authentication when you choose "Continue with Google" (we receive only what is needed to verify identity and link your account).
We share exactly the amount of data necessary to perform a specific function.
7. Where and How Data Is Stored
We apply reasonable organizational and technical protection measures, including access restrictions, logging, backups, and other security measures.
Encryption: we strive to encrypt data in storage and in transit. Details may depend on the current service architecture.
In some cases, data may be processed on servers located outside the Russian Federation, if necessary for infrastructure operation (for example, AI provider or cloud hosting). We try to minimize the volume of transmitted data and choose reliable providers.
8. Storage Periods
We store data: (a) while your account is active; or (b) while needed to provide the service and fulfill obligations; or (c) while required by law (for example, for payment documents).
You can request data deletion — see Delete your data at the top of this page or section 10.
9. Cookies and Analytics
We use cookies for login operation, session storage, and basic settings. Analytical cookies (if used) are enabled only to improve the product and measure work quality.
You can restrict cookies in browser settings, but this may affect service operation.
10. Your Rights
You can:
10.1. Request access to data we store about you.
10.2. Correct data (for example, email) through account settings or support.
10.3. Request account and data deletion at involved.ink/account/delete (or email support).
10.4. Withdraw consent for optional processing (for example, analytics), if applicable.
For requests, write to hello@involved.ink or delete your account at involved.ink/account/delete.
11. Security
We try to protect data from unauthorized access, leaks, and abuse. However, no method of data transmission or storage can be guaranteed 100%.
If you suspect a security problem — report to support as soon as possible.
12. Policy Changes
We may update this Policy. The current version is always published on this page. Continued use of the service after changes means agreement with the updated edition.
Publication date (update): 2026-07-06
